
Diesel pollution is a gigantic problem and Government authorities are starting to pay close attention. In recent news, The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency expects to levy more fines against out-of-state trucking and bus companies that are operating in the state of California.
California was deemed to have the worst air quality in the U.S. back in 2012 and the state has been diligently working on reversing their ranking in this category by requiring trucks and buses that were built before 2007 to install diesel filters.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency states that a large percentage of the 600k plus out-of-state commercial vehicles do not have diesel filters installed in the vehicles.
